Northdale and Greater Northdale

These two areas run together and are at the edge of Carrollwood, another suburb on the north side of Tampa. These cities consists mainly of residential areas, small businesses and a variety of shopping areas and restaurants.

Greater Northdale does offer a nice park and several golf courses. Cheval Golf and Country Club is one of the areas finest and the residential area surrounding it is well known for its upscale homes that include an area for those who like horses and want a little more land. There are several small lakes within the community, so waterfront property is an option.

Greater Northdale is away from the hustle of the Tampa area and offers a more quiet, country atmosphere within minutes of all the metropolitan conveniences. It's an easy drive to beachside towns like Tarpon Springs and Dunedin to fish, shop or dine or take the kids for a day at the beach.

This area is growing and new shopping and residential areas will be moving in within the next few years. Right now there is open space and room to move, but it may not last as this is a prime area for growth in the Tampa neighborhood.
