Zephyrhills is a semi-rural community 35 miles northeast of Tampa. US Highway 301 goes through town and connects Zephyrhills with Dade City 8 miles to the north. The town is close to major cities and attractions but far enough away from the hustle and bustle to make it a comfortable place to stay. Surrounded by cattle ranches, citrus groves, farms and recreational areas Zephyrhills is a popular place for people who want the country atmosphere with all the conveniences of shopping, dining and recreation nearby.

Zephyrhills is the second largest town in Pasco County and sits in the southeast corner of the county which makes it an easy drive to Orlando attractions. Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater and Tarpon Springs are an hour or less away. Because it is centrally located a drive to the east coast of Florida is about 2 hours.

There is always something to do in Zephyrhills. The local airport is known for its skydiving facilities. There are festivals throughout the winter months and the yearly Strawberry Festival in early March is held in Plant City, a 20 minute drive from downtown Zephyrhills. The Kumquat Festival in Dade City is also a great attraction nearby. The Hillsborough State Park is a great place to spend some time to camp, fish and boat.
